I. Job SummaryServes as on-site Human Resources Generalist as a business partner with one or more client groups and is a subject matter expert for one or more HR functional areas. Performs moderately complex Human Resources related duties at the professional level for the full life-cycle of employment, carrying out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: onboarding, employee relations, labor relations, recruitment, training, policies and handbooks, compliance, HRIS/Systems, leave of absence, benefits and compensation administration. Administers HR policies and procedures. Collects and analyzes HR data, assists the HR Manager and HR Director with tasks as assigned and makes recommendations to Management. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

Provides direct support to HR Manger and Area HR Director in various areas such as employee relations, recruitment and staffing, training and development, benefits and compensation, policy and procedure compliance, organizational development, performance management, succession planning and other corporate initiatives supporting the full life-cycle of employment. Coordinates the staffing and hiring process, including pre-boarding and successfully onboarding employees. Investigates help line calls and resolves employee conflicts and/or questions. Conducts new hire orientation and other training programs. Assists in resolution of employee problems including coaching, counseling and discipline. Conducts new hire orientation and other training programs. Monitors for compliance to Federal, State, and local laws and company policies. Develops and analyzes HR metrics, such as employee turnover reports, and recommends plans/programs to improve employee engagement and satisfaction as well as improved financial and employment metrics. Education and Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Human Resources, Business Administration or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant professional level work experience. Experience, post educational requirements: 2 – 6 years of relevant HR related work experience B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

Valid driver’s license Desired: PHR, SPHR or other HR professional certifications. C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

Computer skills including high proficiency using Microsoft Office, time and attendance and other human resource information systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Kronos). Knowledge of report writing, generating and data analysis is a plus. V. Work EnvironmentListed below are key points regarding environmental demands and work environment of the job.
