Seeking a Transformational Area Safety Director for the Upper Midwest*

Role Overview:

We’re on the hunt for an inspiring Area Safety Director to spearhead our Safety initiatives across the Upper Midwest. You’ll lead a dedicated team of 8 safety specialists, shaping and executing our safety strategies in harmony with our overarching goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to craft and align safety strategies.

  • Manage the Drive Cam System, including analysis, reporting, and coaching.

  • Lead our Serious Injury and Fatality Prevention efforts to eliminate high-risk tasks.

  • Enhance safety communication and oversee incident management processes.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations (DOT, OSHA, etc.).

  • Direct our Hazardous Energy Control and PPE Management Programs.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lead our Safety Recognition Program.

  • Prioritize employee health and champion personal development within the safety realm.

Who You Are:

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with over 10 years in Safety or Operations Management, including 3+ years leading teams.

  • A strategic thinker with a knack for translating priorities into action.

  • A collaborative influencer ready to drive change and elevate safety standards.

  • Well-versed in safety regulations with stellar communication skills.

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist, or similar credentials preferred.
